In our inaugural edition of our ‘Employee Spotlight’, meet Ross Miotti! With a diverse background spanning education, tech startups and now recruitment, Ross brings a unique perspective and unwavering passion to his role as Commercial Manager.

Ross’ journey to Esmos began with a career in education, where he spent 20 years as a teacher and youth worker, including teaching stints in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found a tech start up in the blockchain and crypto space, where he honed his skills in business development and networking.

Upon joining Esmos, Ross embraced the challenge of cracking the UK market and establishing Esmos as a leading specialist events recruiter. With a focus on building and nurturing relationships, Ross has played a pivotal role in expanding Esmos’ reach and impact across the industry.

In his role as Commercial Manager, Ross oversees a dedicated team of sales professionals, leveraging his expertise in networking and relationship building. Ross’ typical day is a mix of strategy research and client engagement. Ross’ contributions extend far beyond the boardroom. As a firm believer in the power of relationships, he’s dedicated himself to building strong connections with clients and candidates alike. Whether it's through transparent communication, timely follow ups, or genuine care and concern, Ross goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone he interacts with feels valued and supported.

When asked about a memorable experience since his time started at Esmos, Ross fondly recalls his participation on a panel at the International Confex event, an opportunity that not only highlighted his expertise but opened doors to valuable business opportunities for Esmos.

Outside of work Ross is a man of many passions. An avid sports enthusiast, having ran at the European Masters in 2017 and regularly participating in Gaelic Football tournaments. When he’s not on the field, you’ll likely find him in the kitchen, whipping up delicious meals inspired by his Italian heritage.

Looking ahead, Ross’ aspirations include taking on more responsibility within Esmos and continuing to drive growth and success in both the UK and UAE markets. With his ambition, dedication and expertise, Ross is poised to make a lasting impact on the future of Esmos Recruitment.
