As the Campaign Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote our events, drive attendance, and enhance our brand image.
You will be the marketing lead on two annual exhibitions, with ownership of the marketing plans, and campaign output.
You will work with a team of marketing professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and utilise your expertise in event marketing to create innovative campaigns that attract and engage our target audience.
Develop and implement comprehensive event marketing campaign plans for events that align with overall event growth targets.
Contribute to and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns to promote our events, ensuring consistent messaging, brand integrity and maximum reach - including copywriting and design work across all channels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales and Content to develop integrated marketing plans that support event objectives.
Collaborate with graphic designer to produce industry leading promotional material.
Create and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and always monitoring and optimising ROI with tracked campaigns.
Utilise a mix of marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, paid digital and print media, content marketing and traditional advertising to drive event awareness and attendance.
Develop compelling event messaging with strong English grammar and spelling that resonates with the individual audiences.
Measure and analyse marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to the Head of Marketing, Marketing Director and Commercial teams.
Work with Head of Content and Partnerships Marketing Executive to ensure all external partners, exhibitors, sponsors and media outlets are maximising promotional opportunities for the event.
Monitor and manage the event brand’s online presence, ensuring consistent messaging and timely response to enquiries and feedback.
Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with lead generation and conversion goals.
Utilise marketing and event technologies to further enhance our audiences' customer journey and improve efficiencies within the team.
Stay up to date with marketing trends and advancements within the events industry, other exhibitions, and beyond.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Proven success in developing exhibition marketing plans
Experience executing target-achieving campaigns within a budget
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
Willingness to travel
