COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR 

ESMOS is recruiting a Commercial Director to lead and expand the commercial operations within the healthcare and health sectors for one of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong event management, sales, and marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.

This senior-level role involves working closely with the marketing team and third-party stakeholders at governmental levels, with full responsibility for revenue management, including forecasting, report writing, business development, and identifying new revenue streams.

Responsibilities:-

• Develop and implement a global sales strategy with the marketing team.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to conclusion, ensuring best practices in data acquisition and management.
• Oversee agent management, focusing on growth, account management, and revenue protection.
• Handle key account management for high-revenue exhibitor and sponsor accounts.
• Collaborate with admin and operations teams to maximise floorplan yield.
• Identify and implement new sector developments to keep the exhibition relevant.
• Formulate strategies to maintain event positioning against competitors, including disruptive marketing campaigns.
• Continuously analyze revenue channels, identifying new sources and optimising pricing strategies.
• Set and manage overall revenue sales targets, including pricing and individual sales targets.
• Lead and motivate the sales team, managing incentives, commission structures, KPIs, and providing coaching and mentoring.

Requirements:-

• Degree educated with a proven track record in senior commercial roles for medium/large B2B events.
• 5-7 years in medium to large scale events with 2-3 years in project and sales management.
• 3-5 years managing and leading established commercial teams.
• Strong management skills for key accounts and stakeholder engagement.
• Healthcare/health sector knowledge is an advantage
• Strong written and presentation skills
