Commercial Sponsorship Manager
The Sponsorship Manager is responsible for selling multi-channel sponsorship and digital opportunities, reflected by the markets and the continents they serve locally and internationally. You will work closely with the relevant departments in maximising sponsorship revenue while effectively targeting clients to sell on the integrity of the programme, follow up on marketing campaigns, oversee sponsorship contracts and help achieve optimum results.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the execution of B2B sponsorship sales, analytical and creative and can successfully deliver against multiple elements throughout the year – efficiently and effectively following a plan to meet targets and ensure a premium customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Target market segmentation while conducting thorough market research to ensure that you understand the dimensions of each relationship relevant to your target market, the identification of industry trends, and monitoring competitive performance, cost, and market penetration.
Work with our internal database to select and accurately target vendor organisations, including building and filling in the gaps in our vendor database and specific contact list development.
Create compelling and creative proposals that deliver against the budget, managing your timelines to deliver against pre-agreed objectives.
Assess current and prospective customer retention and acquisition strategies.
Develop sales plans and current initiatives, as specified, including coordination with marketing managers on the sponsorship marketing campaign and relationships with relevant external partners that can help promote success.
Work to develop and manage a budget for each sponsorship sales campaign.
Ensure sponsor requirements and expectations are executed and fulfilled effectively and timely, working to delight clients and management.
Oversees the administration and fulfilment of each sponsorship package sold.
Liaise with clients to ensure their expectations, concerns, and needs are received and welcomed and gain commitment for the following year.
Stay current, including industry publications relevant to your and your company's areas for the development and trends in the industry and to develop new opportunitie
Job Specification:
Candidates should have three years of experience in a similar position.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
Customer focus, budget management, contract management and writing proposals are paramount in this position.
Excellent command of written and spoken English – other languages could be an advantage.
The ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects to tight deadlines, with excellent organisational skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Solid numeric capabilities and experience with quantitative analysis.
Ability to generate ideas
Flexibility to travel both locally and internationally.
