As Conference Producer supporting the events/products owned and managed from our clients Dubai office, you will be responsible for developing and continuing to shape, build and execute the conference content specifically related to the medical and healthcare sector.
Working as part of a new team, you will be responsible for identifying and setting the short- and long-term strategic direction and delivery of business-critical, relevant and compelling content and support all marketing and PR messaging to help position these events.
You will be involved in all aspects of the research and execution. It’s heavily focussed on year-round content and the programme development of our global conferences but also covers other areas of conference management. This role is key to the success of the growth and development of our clients and their stakeholders business.
This is an exciting and highly varied role that will demand your intellectual autonomy, creativity, and ability to think beyond the standard commercial conference ‘conveyor belt’ production cycle. Your primary aim will be to develop content, create a long-term reputation for excellence in the global healthcare market, driving forward our clients’ ambitions to be the most respected provider of healthcare leadership summits in the world.
Responsible for the conference from inception to delivery and identify topics for a conference through in-depth market research (desk, phone and face to face) to write and produce a commercially viable conference programme that will offer networking and knowledge transfer opportunities for delegates, sponsors and speakers.
To write the conference programme, invite speakers, liaise with speakers to ensure attendance, organise or assist in the organizing of the event, as the case may be and to attend to all matters relating to and/or ancillary to the successful conducting of the event
Assist in any logistics planning, pre-event logistics management, as well as onsite and 0 post-event logistics.
Identifying and securing potential partnerships that extend beyond the conference that 0 benefit the show overall and raise the brand equity.
Regular liaison with the Marketing Dept., support the marketing of sponsorship opportunities for events and supervise the promotional work carried out by the marketing staff for the conference.
Coordinating suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the 0 event to ensure that all runs smoothly.
Oversee the event and operations team, making sure everything runs to plan and budget
Minimum of 5 years in organising international events and conferences
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Working knowledge in using Microsoft Office
Strong work ethic and attention to quality and detail
Ability to solve problems and successfully engage with appropriate technical and internal resources
Ability to juggle multiple projects through highly effective organizational skills
