We are currently looking for an Event Sales Specialist for a client in the power rental industry based in Jeddah.

Purpose of the Job:

The role will develop the industry sector of events across the Western region region of Saudi Arabia by offering Power and temperature Control Rental Solution by means of strategic planning, identification of key players and relationship building with individuals, production companies and facilitators from the sector to generate revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage opportunities to be successful and consistently meet targets

  • Partner with the Sector Sales Manager, Events Services Middle East to develop the growth strategy for the near and long term, harmonisting country sales strategies and defining go to market tactics

  • Support business development where necessary, providing expertise and credibility, leveraging knowledge/expertise Event Services sector network

  • Personal involvement in contract negotiations for major events and large repeat events

  • Responsible for maintaining existing key Events customers in respect to further growing the revenue by providing either new applications for those existing customers or enhancing on current ongoing Events contracts

  • Responsible for maintaining good relationships between sales and technical organisation

Requirements:

  • High performer, able to consistency achieve targets

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in power / TC rental environment. Events experience ispreferable.

  • Preferably degree-qualified in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

  • Track record of setting and achieving profitable sales revenues

  • Availability to travel as and when required; seasonal activities will require some weekend work.

  • Technically minded – able to understand and learn about a wide range of products and applications

  • Fluent command of English language, spoken and written

  • Fluent command of local language is an advantage (Arabic, Urdu)

  • Effective planning organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to empathize and understand perspectives of others

  • Experience with MS office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), MS Outlook

  • With valid local driving license

  • Candidate currently in KSA and on transferrable iqama is an advantage
