The Marketing Campaign Manager will be responsible for developing effective marketing strategies and campaign plans for local and international trade exhibitions and conferences.

The ideal candidate will be a marketing all-rounder with proven leadership abilities and a proven track record of delivering growth.

The Job:

  • Create and execute innovative marketing strategies and campaigns to drive awareness, attendance, and engagement for our events.

  • Manage digital marketing initiatives: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including email marketing, social media advertising, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid online campaigns.

  • Work with the sales team to create cross-channel sales campaigns, focused on both new client growth and increased client retention.

  • Monitor campaign performance, optimize conversion rates, and enhance brand visibility across various online platforms.

  • Develop, write and proofread copy for promotional materials - promotional emails, website content, social media posts, and press releases.

  • Take ownership of the data management and CRM system (Zoho), ensuring accurate and up-to- date information, implementing data-driven strategies, and leveraging the CRM to enhance audience segmentation, personalization, and campaign effectiveness.

  • Work with in-house designer to create artwork required for campaigns.

  • Use business intelligence, customer feedback and insights to suggest and implement new campaign ideas.

  • Update event and company websites, maintain exhibitor zones and own the exhibitor customer care programme

  • Execute pre- and post-show customer feedback surveys, taking a proactive lead in analysing feedback outcomes for actionable improvements.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing role within the exhibitions industry

  • Strong attention to detail and copywriting skills in English (must) and Arabic (not essential)

  • Exceptional project management skills - organised, proactive, and able to multi-task.

  • Proven track record of implementing successful marketing campaigns for large-scale exhibitions

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience and knowledge of using social media platforms

  • Good grasp of tools and technology platforms involved with managing websites (ASP), social media (Hootsuite) and CRM (Zoho).

  • Strong ability working with data sets, interpreting trends and providing analysis based on data

    that support our goals.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise relevant tasks.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
