As the Marketing Manager you will plan, design and deliver successful marketing campaigns for exhibitions, conferences, awards, and digital products in line with agreed KPI's.

The Job:

  • Create, implement, and analyse multi-channel marketing campaigns (including exhibitor, conference and visitor campaigns, as well as special events).

    Develop a drop schedule and content calendar.

  • Coordinate the design and production of all marketing materials required to deliver the content calendar.

  • Maintain the marketing budget tracker and adhere to agreed marketing budget.

  • Use the full marketing mix to promote the exhibition and summit content in accordance with the marketing strategy and overall business objectives.

  • Identify target universe and key segments within target universe.

  • Develop personas, value propositions and messaging for each of the key segments.

  • Ensure show websites are fully up-to-date with the latest information and recommend website enhancements.

  • Draft copy and design creatives in conjunction with designer for social media.

  • Work with internal teams to ensure data governance and data management policies are adhered to.

  • Copywrite and proofread marketing materials (in conjunction with Exhibition Director/ Marketing Director if needed) in line with the content calendar and messaging.

  • Provide KPI reports for update meetings with Marketing Director/Exhibition Director.

  • Analyse and report trends over time and use these insights to build more effective campaigns.

  • Identify appropriate media partners and associations and negotiate barter deals to maximize event exposure.

  • Monitor campaign performance, produce relevant and timely reports and recommend changes to campaign execution based on data insights.

  • Monitor and adjust digital marketing activity based on performance metrics.

  • Use GA & Power BI (and other analytics dashboards if needed) to monitor & report campaign performance.

  • Produce supporting event collateral such as show brochures, post show reports and sponsorship brochures.

  • Source, appoint and manage external suppliers.

  • Establish relationships with and manage strategically important partners to ensure maximum exposure.
