The Project Coordinator role is essential in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
This position is an excellent opportunity for an organized and proactive individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to the overall success of projects and the organization.
The successful candidate will create project timelines and timetables and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support the reporting of the project status of various work streams for the project.
Collaborate with the project teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate project activities and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain project documentation such as project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and action items.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
Liaise with internal stakeholders such as sales, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure their requirements are incorporated into project plans.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure that they meet project requirements.
Conduct project meetings and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project progress and any changes to project plans.
Ensure that all project deliverables are of high quality and meet the expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct meeting minutes for project meetings that shall be documented and shared with participants. To dos documented need to be followed up and tracked by the candidate.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Event Management, Project Management, Marketing, or Business Administration or PMP Certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the events industry.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
Communication – excellent written English and verbal communication skills, report writing, copywriting and presentation skills
Detailed understanding of event marketing
Strong organisational and project management skills are essential
