Our events company client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

As a Project Manager in the events industry, you will be at the forefront of crafting memorable experiences for our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating and executing a wide range of events, from corporate conferences to social gatherings and everything in between.

The Job:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Measure project performance using appropriate Finance and system tools and techniques

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the events industry

  • Experience in project management of events, including budget forecasting and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Extensive knowledge of the market and comprehension of associated industry

  • Strong skills/experience in writing and presenting sales proposals

  • Highly developed communication skills in English, both written and verbal

  • Experience working in a highly pressured environment

  • Developed computer skills with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets.
