The Sales Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the sales department within an organization. This role involves setting sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets. The Sales Director is expected to lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve exceptional performance, while also contributing to the overall business strategy. 

  • Overall responsibility and accountability of achieving the required sales targets for each of the products within the organization.

  • Contribute to and implement the organizational sales and marketing strategy

  • Create and execute awareness campaigns helping perceptions to the brands, products, and services within the current and future portfolio

  • Directly oversee the development of an aggressive sales team with the requisites necessary to achieve sales targets

  • Managing the entire sales team, ensuring key timely reporting structures and procedures

  • Develop timely sales reports as required

  • Ensure communications and PR help enhance the organizational key objectives of developing sustainable product brands

  • Aggressively work towards securing long term revenue generating business possibilities and growth targets

  • Develop and enhance the brands in terms of tangible and intangible elements

  • Strategically enhance the portfolio of the organization in line with the long-term growth objectives of the organization

  • Develop and implement key marketing activities to help create a conducive sales environment for the products and brands required to help the sales team achieve targets

  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant market, press and media

  • Manage organizational websites for effectiveness, content, and dynamic information.

  • Create and maintain sales collaterals, media kits, brochures,

  • internal communication material as required

  • Develop required corporate presentations

Minimum Experience:   

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in events industry, Tech Sector.

  • Previous relevant experience in exhibitions company is a must

  • Effective English communication skills

  • Experience in Middle East market is plus

  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with a wide variety of clients and partners across multiple mediums, including; phone, email, and face-to-face meetings

  • Highly motivated, ambitious, a desire to take ownership and responsibility to ensure the best outcome

  • Ability to work towards KPIs, using them as a motivational tool to hit and exceed targets

  • Adaptable and collaborative nature, working with colleagues across the team

  • MUST have work experience within exhibitions
