We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and result-driven Sales Executive with proven event business development skills and  strong telesales skills  to join our team.

Accountabilities: 

  • Effectively managing a selected portfolio of key accounts, some with five and six-figure contract value

  • Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders using a consultative approach

  • Achieving and exceeding agreed show and personal revenue and profit targets

  • Undertaking research to understand the market objectives, aims and ambitions of your client base

  • To work closely with and within each business to identify its aims, objectives and requirements

  • Tailor opportunities available, creating strong partnership propositions

  • Work closely with other departments, content, marketing, and sales to operate as one team.

  • Attend events and liaising with exhibitor and sponsor clients onsite to ensure that their contract is fulfilled and all their concerns and needs are addressed.

Minimum Experience:   

  • Minimum 3-4 years of sales/business development experience in a relevant environment (events, conference, agencies, publishing)

  • A highly driven and confident sales professional

  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Commercially minded with the ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative in a sales environment

  • A proven record of negotiating and securing new business

  • An ability to build long term, sustainable and profitable relationships with customers and develop a profile within the industry

  • Ability to travel overseas on business

  • High-Energy and a positive attitude 

  • Willingness to travel  

  • Experience with CRM desired
