SALES MANAGER
Our client is a leading Conference & Exhibition organiser currently expanding their head count and are looking for a Sales Manager to join the team.
The purpose of the role is to sell sponsorships and exhibition space on designated events and to deliver highest possible overall sales performance and success of the events.
Responsibilities:-
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industry to achieve strategic and financial targets, delivery of all sales-related financial revenues and targets
- Research and visit competitive exhibitions to source new ideas and market practices.
- Contribute to the development of ideas to encourage visitor promotion, expand and develop exhibition database
- Manage existing and identify new agents for the concerned show
- Develop sponsorship and non-space revenue opportunities
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Effective target setting, tracking and delivery across all sales bands
- Develop CRM programme for key and specific target groups
- Liaise and brief the Marketing team on requirements for all sales promotion, ensuring timeliness and quality.
Skills and Knowledge
- Should come with min 4+ years of experience in exhibition/event sales
- Formal qualification in a business, and or sales management degree or related disciplines is an advantage.
- Strong sales, interpersonal and negotiating skills required.
- Proven success in exhibition sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Creative thinker with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment
