Our client is a leading Conference and exhibition organiser with a regional head office in London. They are currently expanding their staff and are looking for a Sales Manager to join the team.
A results-driven Sales Account Manager with a proven track record in the events industry. This role demands strong commercial awareness, enabling the candidate to comprehend and challenge the impact of sales decisions across the organization. The focus is on customer satisfaction, utilising advanced negotiation and presentation skills to deliver high-yield business through effective selling of products and supplementary services.
Responsibilities:-
- In-depth understanding of the business landscape, including domestic and international competitors.
- Proficient in consulting with clients to maximise revenue and exceed expectations.
- Skilled in techniques and processes to effectively qualify leads.
- Experienced in using the full Microsoft Office suite and databases for account management.
- Highly numerate, ensuring accuracy in financial and data analysis.
Requirements:-
- Extensive experience in a demanding sales role within the events sector.
- Solid background in the association market, with knowledge of the association bid lifecycle and client motivations.
- Experienced in designing, developing, and selling sophisticated conference solutions.
- Understanding of destination sales strategies is a plus.
