The Senior Marcoms Manager will assist the strategy, development, and formulation of marketing activities, whilst supporting implementation, and delivery, for the client and its events in Southeast Asia. The position will also ensure relevant and available synergies and best practices for marketing and data management are developed and executed. This will require the ability to work in a cross-functional environment and understand specific marketing needs for each of the client's brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing the marketing strategy for existing brands and new show launches.

  • Working closely with Exhibition Directors on marketing budgets, increasing effectiveness of marketing year on year.

  • Set and support the execution of marketing drop schedules for each project team.

  • Centrally control key suppliers – registration, biz matching, temp staff, telemarketing, design agency, website, PR, media, data management, CRM system, SF system (commercial infrastructure)

  • Manage data system, data cleaning, coding and management across all portfolio events.

  • Develop with marketing managers KPIs covering; Pre-reg weekly target, pre–reg conversion target, onsite visitor target, and rebooking target.

  • Corporate marketing –Manage central social media account, promote the client's portfolio events. Both within MICE and specific event industries.

  • Post-show attendee and data reports for management to gain business insights.

  • Analysis of data to support business development function.

  • Special feature events development – competition, awards, roundtable, thematic zone etc.

  • Support onsite marketing manpower planning to support ongoing events with all existing project team marketers.

Key Characteristics

  • Experienced marketer within the business events and tradeshow environment.

  • Ability to adapt and adjust quickly to market conditions.

  • Knowledge of marketing best practices in multiple ASEAN countries.

  • Background of working with local and regional MICE contractors and service providers.

  • Energetic personality working within an international office.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global network with global networks including offices, in Europe, Asia and Americas.
