SENIOR SALES MANAGER-ARABIC

Job Function: 

As a Senior Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to generate revenue by selling exhibition booth spaces and sponsorship opportunities to businesses looking to participate in our events. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven individual with a strong sales background and a deep understanding of the exhibitions industry.

 

Accountabilities: 

  • To be fully responsible for the revenue generation of the exhibition stands and sponsorship packages to achieve agreed sales targets for your event
  • Sell exhibition space and sponsorships in accordance with set targets to ensure the revenue budget is achieved
  • Working with the Event Director to support the management of a network of overseas sales agents who sell exhibition stands and sponsorship and to achieve the agreed sales target
  • To seek out, consider and evaluate new business opportunities
  • Monitor sales figures and reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to enable senior management to be updated on the progress of the show and sponsorships
  • Regularly and frequently review and monitor competitive publications/exhibitions and identify new leads to ensure that sales opportunities are developed and maximised
  • Maintain regular contact and visit existing and potential clients to ensure current and new business is developed

 

Minimum Experience:   

  • At lease 4 years of B2B sales management and account handling experience
  • Previous relevant experience in events company is a must
  • Familiarity in selling construction and design products/services is a plus
  • Effective Arabic & English communication skills
  • Experience in Middle East market is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with a wide variety of clients and partners across multiple mediums, including phone, email, and face-to-face meetings
  • Ability to work towards KPIs, using them as a motivational tool to hit and exceed targets
