We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of the planning, fabrication, and delivery of exhibition and event projects. This role sits at the heart of operations and requires someone who can confidently manage complex projects, oversee large production teams, and act as a client-facing leader throughout the project lifecycle.

The position combines hands-on production knowledge with strong people management and cost control, making it well suited to a commercially minded operations professional.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning G Delivery

• Plan, manage, and deliver exhibition and event projects from concept through to on-site execution
• Oversee production schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Coordinate warehouse operations and logistics as part of overall project planning

Production G Fabrication

• Manage the full fabrication process, working closely with internal teams and suppliers
• Apply strong market and technical knowledge to ensure materials, builds, and finishes meet required standards
• Identify efficiencies and improvements within production workflows

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a customer-facing point of contact, ensuring clear communication and expectation management
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with client briefs
• Maintain a solutions-focused approach when challenges arise

Cost & Resource Management

• Take ownership of cost management, ensuring projects are delivered within budget
• Balance quality, timelines, and commercial considerations
• Monitor production spend and labour allocation closely

Team Leadership & Overseas Operations

• Oversee a large overseas workforce (circa 100 staff)
• Manage and support:

• Ensure clear structure, accountability, and performance standards across teams
• Experience managing Indian production teams is highly relevant to this role

Candidate Profile

Essential

• Proven experience as a Production Manager within exhibitions, events, or related fabrication environments
• Strong background in planning, warehouse coordination, and project delivery
• Demonstrable experience managing large, multi-layered teams
• Confident in customer-facing roles, with strong communication skills
• Solid understanding of fabrication processes and materials
• Strong commercial awareness with proven cost management capability

Desirable

• Experience overseeing overseas production teams
• Market knowledge of the Middle East exhibitions or live events sector
