COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and result-orientated  Commercial Director.

To strategise, conceptualise, plan, improve, direct and manage the overall sales and revenue delivery of the full portfolio of the exhibitions and conference division of a company to maximise its financial performance.

Accountabilities:

• Managing sales output, performance, standards and best practices of all sales teams.

• Remain abreast of developments within the exhibition industry, especially sales innovations

• Provide leadership and training to the Sales team.

• Contribute to the preparation of all sales promotions material and development of ideas to encourage visitor promotion

• Develop sponsorship and non-space revenue opportunities

• Develop CRM program for key and specific target groups and Complete key account management strategy and program

• Delivery of all sales-related financial revenues and targets

• Develop new sales innovations and programmes to maintain competitive edge

• Implement key account strategy and programme

• Coordinates with the Operation and Marketing team to ensure the exhibition is of 0 highest standard.

• Develop CRM programme for key and specific target groups, tracking the team sales progress and performance

Minimum Experience:  

• 7/8 years sales experience in the exhibitions industry and the ability to remain updated on the latest industry market knowledge.

• Strong sales, interpersonal and negotiating skills required.

• Managing African shows is ideal.

• B2B Exhibition experience is a must
