Conference Director.

ESMOS Recruitment is looking for a Conference Director for one of our clients in the events and exhibitions industry based in Dubai.This role is responsible for planning and delivering conferences, including developing agendas, managing speakers, and building relationships with key industry stakeholders. The position involves conducting market research, identifying relevant topics and speakers, and ensuring the successful execution of events while working closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop conference programmes based on market research and industry trends
• Identify and secure high-level speakers and industry experts
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, and industry representatives
• Collaborate with internal teams to support the commercial success of events
• Organize committee meetings and support the call for papers process
• Represent events at industry functions and support networking and market intelligence
• Contribute to team development and continuous improvement of processes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in conference or event production
• Strong stakeholder management and networking skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, and operations)
• Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong team collaboration skills
