Principal AI – Large Language Models.

ESMOS is delighted to be recruiting a Principal AI on behalf of one of our clients in the digital industry, based in Dubai.

This is a senior technical role responsible for leading the development and deployment of advanced language models within a security-focused, privacy-first platform. The role combines research leadership with hands-on engineering to deliver scalable, efficient, and production-ready AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and optimize large and small language models
• Lead fine-tuning and model adaptation for real-world applications
• Develop evaluation frameworks to ensure model accuracy, robustness, and safety
• Optimize models for performance, cost, and deployment efficiency
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven features

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, including hands-on work with LLMs
• Strong expertise in PyTorch and large-scale model training
• Proven experience deploying AI models into production environments

• Must have hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs in production with measurable impact

• Background in security, privacy, or regulated industries is an advantage
