ESMOS Recruitment is looking on behalf of one of our clients for a Junior Creative Project Manager to support the delivery of live entertainment, events and experiential projects.

This is a hands-on role for someone looking to develop their project management experience within a creative and fast-paced environment. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider creative and production teams, the successful candidate will assist with project coordination, pre-production, supplier and talent communication, rehearsals and live event delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager with the coordination and delivery of creative and entertainment projects from planning through to live delivery and closeout.
  • Support project planning, timelines, schedules and day-to-day project coordination.
  • Assist with coordinating performers, suppliers, creative teams and production partners.
  • Support the preparation of creative briefs, production schedules, show flows, call sheets and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, rehearsals, site visits and production activities.
  • Follow up with suppliers, performers and internal teams to ensure information and requirements are received on time.
  • Assist with supplier quotations, project costs, purchase requirements and budget tracking.
  • Maintain organised project files and documentation.
  • Support communication between the Project Manager, clients, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Assist with logistical arrangements and operational requirements for rehearsals and live events.
  • Track project actions, deadlines and outstanding requirements, providing regular updates to the Project Manager.
  • Identify potential delays or issues and escalate them to the Project Manager promptly.
  • Provide on-site support during rehearsals, event setup and live delivery.
  • Assist with last-minute changes and ensure information is communicated clearly to the relevant teams.
  • Support the Project Manager in ensuring projects are delivered smoothly and to a high creative and production standard.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in events, live entertainment, experiential production, creative production, show production or a similar environment.
  • Good understanding of event planning, creative and production processes.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks and follow them through to completion.
  • Confident communicating and coordinating with suppliers, performers, creative teams and production teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, resourceful and solutions-focused, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and organised during rehearsals and live events.
  • Comfortable working independently on assigned tasks while taking direction from the Project Manager.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required for rehearsals and live event delivery.
  • Willingness to travel when required depending on project needs.
