Job Overview

ESMOS Recruitment is looking for an experienced Commercial Director on behalf of one of our clients in the events and exhibitions industry based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving commercial growth, developing business opportunities, managing revenue targets and leading high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Drive new business development, sponsorship sales and strategic partnerships.
• Lead, manage and develop sales teams to achieve business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, sponsors and industry stakeholders.
• Oversee sales budgets, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Identify new market opportunities and revenue streams.
• Work closely with internal teams to support business growth and successful event delivery.

Requirements

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience, preferably within B2B exhibitions, conferences or related industries.
• Strong track record in sales, business development and revenue growth.
• Experience managing large revenue portfolios and leading sales teams.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Strategic, results-driven and commercially focused.
