We’re hiring an Group Exhibitions Director for one of our clients in the events industry.
The Group Exhibitions Director will oversee the strategy, development, and delivery of a portfolio of exhibitions, ensuring growth, profitability, and stakeholder satisfaction. The role involves driving innovation, expanding market presence across the region, and maintaining operational excellence across multiple events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction, planning, and execution of exhibitions across various markets.
- Oversee budgets, revenue targets, and event profitability while ensuring exceptional delivery.
- Develop and expand new exhibitions in regional markets such as Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
- Manage and mentor event teams, ensuring collaboration and performance excellence.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners to enhance event value.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive portfolio growth and sustainability.
- Ensure brand consistency, operational efficiency, and high attendee and exhibitor satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 8–10 years of experience in exhibitions, conferences, or large-scale event management.
- Proven track record in leading event portfolios and delivering commercial success.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience in regional event expansion and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage budgets, teams, and multiple complex projects simultaneously.
