The Opportunity
An ambitious and fast-growing business is seeking a commercially driven Commercial Director to lead its next phase of growth across the Middle East.
This is a rare opportunity to shape both the commercial strategy and future direction of the business by driving revenue growth, strengthening existing client partnerships, and expanding into new sectors and markets. A key priority will be identifying and developing opportunities within the live events, experiential, entertainment, sports, festivals and major events sectors, alongside the company's established portfolio.
The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven ability to open new markets, win complex commercial opportunities, build high-performing teams and develop long-term client relationships. They will be expected to challenge the status quo, identify emerging opportunities and play a significant role in diversifying the company's client base.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy G Growth
- Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
- Identify, evaluate and penetrate new industry sectors, with particular emphasis on live events, experiential marketing, sports, entertainment, festivals and major public events.
- Expand the company's market presence by developing new client relationships and strategic partnerships across the GCC and wider region.
- Build a diversified sales pipeline that balances existing markets with new commercial opportunities.
- Work closely with the executive leadership team to identify future growth opportunities, acquisitions, partnerships and strategic initiatives.
Business Development
- Drive new business acquisition across both existing and emerging sectors.
- Leverage an established network while proactively developing relationships with new clients and decision-makers.
- Lead major commercial negotiations and secure long-term strategic partnerships.
- Develop tailored go-to-market strategies for new service offerings and industry verticals.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities, positioning the company as a market leader.
Commercial Leadership
- Build, mentor and inspire a high-performing commercial team.
- Introduce scalable commercial processes, KPIs and performance metrics.
- Lead pricing strategy, commercial negotiations and contract management.
- Ensure commercial risk is effectively assessed and managed.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to maximise profitability and project performance.
