 The Marketing Director’s responsibilities include providing direction, guidance, inspiration and leadership to the team and its portfolio, ensuring activities with exponential standards are delivered on time and within budget to maximize opportunities, revenues, profits and market share.

You will work cross-functionally to understand marketing needs, act as the company brand ambassador to external sources and drive revenue growth through successful marketing campaigns.

The Job:

  • Create, review, sign off and monitor holistic marketing plans and budgets specific to each portfolio.

  • Ensure deliverables are planned and delivered to the highest standard. 

  • Set brand and portfolio marketing goals with measurable success metrics to drive better results, spend marketing budgets more effectively in existing markets, and develop new activities and ideas. Reduce costs where possible.

  • Hold regular meetings emphasising quality, additional lead generation support, customer feedback and objections, and the effectiveness of sales collateral. 

  • Identify critical competitors and reposition ourselves, differentiating us and taking the market share. 

  • Adapt existing frameworks to create a robust social and content marketing strategy that builds brand awareness, captures new contact data and converts to customers 

  • Coach teams on the guiding principles of great copywriting that influences our customer to take action 

  • Devise and develop realistic budgets, and ensure they are maintained and not exceeded. 

  • Create a series of visual standard guidelines to ensure representation professionally and applied consistently across all channels and touchpoints  

  • Continuously look to bring innovation and tactics into marketing campaigns to achieve goals, build the brand and increase market share. 

  • Analyse available data insights to identify trends for growth and pre-empt risk 

  • Assist in directly orchestrated partnerships, giving your brand credibility and awareness and supporting the division in researching and identifying new commercial opportunities 

  • Train the team across company platforms and be aware of any process and company policies, offering best practice advice and guidelines.

Personal Attributes:

  • You have a minimum of 8 years of experience, ideally in Brand and/ or Product Management.
