Event Designer.

We are seeking a talented Event Designer for one of our clients in the events and exhibitions industry based in Riyadh.

The ideal candidate will take concepts from initial idea to final execution—developing layouts, stage and scenic designs, guest flow plans, and build-ready drawings. This role requires close collaboration with production and technical teams to ensure all designs are creative, accurate, and feasible for on-site delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop event concepts, spatial layouts, and guest journeys.
• Design stages, scenic elements, brand touchpoints, and key event zones.
• Produce floorplans, elevations, signage plans, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with technical teams on rigging, AV, power, safety, and build requirements. Prepare tender packs, drawings, specifications, and vendor briefs.
• Present ideas through sketches, moodboards, 3D references, and client-ready decks.
• Work closely with production and vendors; review drawings, samples, and materials.
• Support site surveys, mock-ups, installations, rehearsals, and event handover.
• Stay up to date on regional event trends and maintain design standards/templates.

Requirements:

• 3–6+ years of experience in event, exhibition, or experiential design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Vectorworks, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation tools.
• Understanding of rigging, AV/lighting, scenic fabrication, and health & safety principles.
• Strong spatial planning, technical drawing, and communication skills.
• Experience with visual AI tools is an advantage.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing concept development, technical drawings, and built work.
