Technical Event Projects & Estimation/Costing Manager.

ESMOS Recruitment is seeking a Technical Event Projects & Estimation / Costing Manager for a client in the events industry, based in Dubai.

This role leads technical planning, costing, and delivery of live events and production projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, commercial viability, and high-quality technical execution across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Translate client briefs into technical solutions (AV, lighting, staging, rigging, LED, power).
• Develop technical concepts, layouts, and production strategies.
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and quotations with strong margin control.
• Coordinate technical delivery with internal teams, suppliers, and venues.
• Oversee technical drawings, documentation, and compliance.
• Support or lead onsite installation and live event execution as required.
• Act as technical lead in client and stakeholder engagements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, safety, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Production, Event Management, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical event production.
• Strong knowledge of AV, lighting, rigging, staging, LED, and power distribution.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks is required.
• Strong commercial, cost-control, and project management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
