The Sales Executive will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects and negotiating deals while maintaining and growing business with existing customers. This role will interact with small, medium, and high-profile accounts.
Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their business needs. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations and proposals on products and services.
Manage existing accounts to maintain business relations with them and grow commercial cooperation.
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
Collaborate with team members to achieve better results. Work closely with editorial, marketing and ability to operate as one team.
Attend events and liaise with exhibitor and sponsor clients onsite to ensure their contract is fulfilled and all their concerns and needs are addressed.
Keep up to date via a wide range of material, including various industry publications relevant to the topic areas and audiences of assigned conferences for developments and trends in the industry.
Understand the market trends, changes and overall situation to be able to offer value propositions to the clients.
At least 2 years experience working in media and/or event sales and can showcase a robust sales skill set: lead generation, cold calling, working with CRM systems, cultivating sales proposals, and identifying the right decision-makers to sign off a sale.
