Our client is a leading Conference & Exhibition organiser with their regional head office based in Dubai.

The role involves joining the team as a Sales Manager focusing on new business and retention sales for the event show for local and global markets.  Success requires exceeding show sales targets and driving revenue from key global regions. Key skills include ambassadorial abilities to confidently present events as the largest in the world for the industry, conveying authority in showcasing the portfolio of world-class events to key clients.

The role will require the hunger to drive new business and identify / approach / convert sales from countries and regions identified as having a strong alignment.

Responsibilities:-

  • Secure new and existing revenue across exhibitions, digital, and sponsorships.

  • Develop new sales to meet revenue targets.

  • Exceed event and personal targets through direct selling.

  • Understand customer requirements thoroughly.

  • Nurture new sales opportunities into long-term relationships.

  • Self-source leads through networking and online research.

  • Collaborate with international offices and Sales teams.

  • Promptly follow up on self-sourced and Marketing-generated leads.

  • Manage customer relationships and maintain contact lists.

  • Attend events to secure re-bookings and gather feedback.

  • Support the sales team in all business matters.

  • Maintain accurate weekly pipelines and reports.

Requirements:-

  • Experienced salesperson with a strong background in telephone and face-to-face sales.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience selling within exhibitions or conferences, including digital solutions.

  • Possesses project management and organizational skills.

  • Team player who collaborates effectively.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding individual sales targets.
