The Senior Marketing Manager will lead marketing and communication strategies for the Exhibition Department's portfolio within the retail and marketing industry. This role requires a seasoned professional to develop innovative, high-ROI campaigns across digital and offline channels while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive event success.
Responsibilities:
- Devise and implement marketing and communication strategies in collaboration with internal teams, external agencies, and suppliers.
- Create measurable, innovative campaigns across digital and traditional channels to maximise ROI.
- Develop and produce marketing collateral with input from show directors and sales teams.
- Enhance events by incorporating additional offerings such as conferences, awards ceremonies, webinars, podcasts, roadshows, and networking events.
- Source, negotiate, and manage external agencies for design, PR, marketing, photography, website, registration, and other support services.
- Work with show teams to grow databases and conduct research to strengthen event marketing.Assist project and sales managers in securing corporate sponsorships.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor events to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years in marketing, with exhibitions experience in the retail or marketing industry.
- Hands-on experience in email marketing, copywriting, social media, paid ads, and traditional media.
- Proficiency in reporting tools like Google Analytics, Power BI, and Salesforce.
- Expertise in project management platforms (Asana, Trello) and design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including organic/paid social, Google Ads, and programmatic advertising.
- Experience in crafting compelling copy for campaigns.
