Warehouse Manager.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager on behalf of our client a global events company to oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate preparation, dispatch, return, and storage of technical equipment. The role supports event and project delivery across all regions while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse and prep teams
• Train and develop staff to enhance performance
• Plan and allocate daily tasks based on priorities
• Oversee equipment prep, packing, loading, and dispatch
• Ensure all equipment is tested and ready before deployment
• Coordinate logistics, truck movements, and delivery schedules
• Review packing lists for accuracy
• Manage equipment returns, testing, and storage
• Oversee equipment allocations and sub-hire handling
• Maintain accurate inventory and support stock counts
• Enforce HSE compliance and proper PPE use
• Report incidents and equipment damages promptly
• Maintain quality control standards
• Coordinate with project, operations, and asset teams
• Ensure accurate dispatch documentation
• Support inter-branch transfers and crew coordination
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency
• Manage warehouse OPEX and third-party labor costs

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years warehouse or logistics experience (events, AV, power, or technical production preferred)
• Hands-on experience with technical equipment handling
• Knowledge of HSE and warehouse safety standards
• Experience with inventory/rental software (e.g., Hiretrack or similar)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
